MARINA SCARDACCIU
The images introduced by Marina Scardacciu appear us as you dream. They introduce a realistic component, given by the recognition of the subject, in this case the game and another unreal that invading the reality interferes with it. The composition of its jobs discloses the component fairytale and sur-real: the figures always live the same identical landscape of which also the colors underline the irreality, a green lawn and a dark sky of it. A place of the mind, internal and not identifiable with any other. This creates a sense of disorientation that we could call the "perturbing" in how much we perceive something that appears us family in a first moment, that however it immediately escapes our knowledge in a second moment. We are brought in fact to reflect although the theme of the game should conduct us to escape with the imagination, but this is not the goal of the artist. For Marina Scardacciu the game is symbolic element, it represents the struggle against his/her own fears, uncertainties and weaknesses; ritual primitive against the hostile strengths, it is to exorcize the death, recovering so an immense imaginary of ancient origin and present secular in all the cultures, from the east to the west

MARINA SCARDACCIU
Le immagini presentate da Marina Scardacciu ci appaiono come sogni. Esse presentano una componente realistica, data dal riconoscimento del soggetto, in questo caso il gioco, ed un'altra irreale che invadendo la realtà interferisce con essa. La composizione dei suoi lavori svela la componente fiabesca e sur-reale: le figure abitano sempre lo stesso identico paesaggio del quale anche i colori ne sottolineano l'irrealtà, un prato verdissimo e un cielo scurissimo. Un luogo della mente, interiore e non identificabile con nessun altro. Ciò crea un senso di spaesamento che potremmo chiamare il "perturbante" in quanto percepiamo qualcosa che ci appare familiare in un primo momento, che però sfugge subito alla nostra conoscenza in un secondo momento. Siamo portati infatti a riflettere sebbene il tema del gioco dovrebbe condurci ad evadere con la fantasia, ma questo non è il fine dell'artista. Per Marina Scardacciu il gioco è elemento simbolico, rappresenta la lotta contro le proprie paure, incertezze e debolezze; rituale primigenio contro le forze ostili, è esorcizzare la morte, recuperando così un immenso immaginario di origine antichissima e secolare presente in tutte le culture, dall'oriente all'occidente.
